Family Fun, Functions and parties
Here at Archer’s Edge we are big on anything that spells fun. We have a few options to choose from when deciding to host your Function, Team Building and Kiddies Archery Party. Our S.A.F.E. archery tag game is also a first in South Africa and will guarantee hours of archery fun.
Option 1: R200 per person for 4-10 persons and R180 for 11 or more. S.A.F.E. Archery hover ball equipment gets used, where you use a recurve bow with soft tip arrows, shooting at hovering balls. Activity is an hour.
Option 2: R240 per person for 4-10 persons and R220 for 11 or more. S.A.F.E. Archery hover ball equipment gets used and then we move over to shooting balloons with a compound bow. Activity is an hour.
Option 3: R450 per person. This option caters for smaller groups up to 4 people or individuals that are interested in doing archery. Ages 4 to 70+ welcome to come join in the fun. This option includes all equipment, which consists of a compound bow set up to your draw length and poundage.
All of the options above includes all equipment and an instructor.

Bow Functions
Depending on the functions/parties needs we do a brief overview of the different bows and accessories so that the person using the bow is comfortable and understands the equipment. We use recurve bows to do the functions/parties.
Corporate Functions/Team Building
We try and incorporate team building shoots. We make sure everyone understands and have all gone through a few practice rounds. We then group into two teams, we advise that you do that beforehand, that you can give your teams different names and have them build up the teams and team spirit before the event. We then compete as a whole team, doing a few rounds of archery.
It takes an hour and a half to do all activities where after you can still use the facilities.
We do have cold drinks available which you can purchase in the shop, but with functions you are more than welcome to bring your own cold drinks. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED. You are also more than welcome to bring along some snacks or you can braai a big lunch. We have braai facilities and also a big lawn that you can have a picnic under the trees.
Range open to the public any time during business hours:
Field Archery Range R 75 per day (Own Equipment) – No booking required
3D Archery Range R100 per round (Own Equipment) – No booking required
Combination Field and 3D Archery Range Fee R130 – No booking required
3D Range consists of only shooting 1x Arrow per 3D target (each target only shot once)

We would recommend that you then have prizes for the best shot, worst shot, for the team that one and the individual winner. You can also make it interesting by having let’s say, the funniest shot or worst marksman competitions – whichever way you like.
