Skills Development Sessions
Archer’s Edge may seem very casual and laid back but we have had some of South Africa’s best archer’s start their competitive careers at our club.
What seems to slip by unnoticed is that the skills that make us good bowhunters, Practice, Patience, Preparation, Resilience and Perseverance in any location, condition and weather, is the same that makes for excellent competitors.
And because we champion ethical hunting and moral hunting practices, our competitors are also of the highest ethical character.

High School Kids

Introduction to Archery
Always wanted to try Compound Archery?
Book 1 to 4 people for an Introduction to Archery session!
When you arrive, you are measured and a compound bow is set-up according to your measurements to ensure that you have a safe and great experience!

Once your gear is set-up, an Archer’s Edge Team member will give you an instruction lesson about the basics of archery and how to enjoy the sport safely.

Once you are comfortable with the bow and the skills required to shoot safely on our range, the instructors will give you about half an hour of free shooting time to enjoy the sport!
This is a great activity to do as friends or couples, and we can accommodate people from 5yrs old onwards. Left or Right Handed.
