Tonevale has a varied terrain and the landscape consists of flat open plains and sloping hills and valleys with many vantage points overlooking the Umhlathuze river which forms the farm’s southern boundary making it the perfect habitat for a wide variety of animals and consequently, Tonevale is home to a wide variety of buck species as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and buffalo.
Zululand is blessed with mild winters and hot summers and is perfect for visiting all year round and Tonevale has the added benefit of being located in a malaria free area, a mere 30 minutes from the sea at Richards Bay or 2 hours from Durban all on tar road.
